It looks like a new store will be arriving in downtown Fort Saskatchewan.
Some residents have noticed workers at Market Square, the former location of Giant Tiger/Safeway, for the last few weeks.
Just last week a sign went up at the shopping centre for Dollar Tree, a discount department store.
Officials from Dollar Tree have confirmed that the store would be coming to Fort Saskatchewan, with an expected opening day at some point in November.
Dollar Tree offers housewares, hardware, electronics, per supplies, festive decor, and even food.
