Fort Saskatchewan crash leaves one in hospital

A crash in Fort Saskatchewan has sent one person to hospital.

The crash happened on Tuesday (Sep. 26) at around 6 p.m. on Highway 15 just off 99 Avenue.

According to police, the collision was between a pickup truck and someone on a pedal bicycle.

The cyclist was taken to an Edmonton hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries while the pickup truck driver was not injured.

An investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
