Strathcona County RCMP arrest reseller of stolen goods

Strathcona County RCMP have arrested an Edmonton resident in connection to a break and enter.

According to police, several generators were stolen from a Vermillion business in late August. Just two days after the break-in, one of the stolen generators was listen for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

On September 6, Strathcona County RCMP Property Crime Unit teamed up with the Crime Reduction Unit to arrest a woman allegedly trying to sell the stolen generators.

Kristyn Phillips, a 33-year-old resident of Edmonton, has been charged with trafficking stolen property under $5,000.
