Edmonton police looking for female assault suspect

Edmonton Police Service (EPS) are looking for the public’s help in identifying the female suspect of an unprovoked assault last week.

On October 12 at around 8 a.m. the suspect approached three people at the Coliseum LRT Station and began punching them repeatedly.

One of the victims, a 51-year-old woman, was treated by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries. The other two victims, both men, did not require any medical attention.

Police believe that the assaults were random and unprovoked.

EPS has released a photo of the suspect in an attempt to identify and locate her. She is described as:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 25
  • Medium build
  • Long dark brown/red hair

During the assault the suspect was wearing a white open-chested long sleeve shirt, black Nike sweatpants with a red swoosh on the left leg, and black runners. She was also wearing an Atlanta Braves baseball hat with the letter ‘A’ on the front.
