The Santa Parade is coming back to Fort Saskatchewan this weekend.
Hosted by the Fort Saskatchewan and District Chamber of Commerce, the parade will be circling the downtown core on December 2 starting at 11 a.m.
“It’s a good opportunity for kids and families to come out, see the floats, and have some holiday cheer,” said Melissa Saretsky, president of the chamber. “We’re just going through our traditional parade format.”
There’s expected to be about 30 different floats throughout the parade, with the parade lasting about an hour.
The parade begins on the corner of 99 Avenue and 108 Street before travelling down 99th and turning right on 102 Street.
Residents can bring chairs for sitting, or bags to hold the candy. Saretsky also added that kids could bring their letters to Santa, which his elves will be collecting throughout the parade.
