Edmonton Driver of Stolen Vehicle Involved in LRT Hit and Run, Literally

The driver of a stolen vehicle was captured on video after hitting a Valley Line LRT in southeast Edmonton, upon which time they got out of the vehicle, and literally ran from the scene.

Edmonton Police say it occured at around 8:00 a.m. Monday on 66th street near the Whitemud Drive overpass.

Canine tracking wasn’t able to locate the driver.

Police believe the driver disobeyed road signage before striking the train.
