Fort Sask-Edmonton bus route may change, city looking for public input

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is considering making a big change to FST Route 580, a bus route that connects Fort Saskatchewan with Edmonton.

The change involves Route 580 travelling to Sherwood Park instead of Edmonton. However, before the city goes forward with changes, they’re looking for input from passengers.

This input comes in the form of a survey that you can find on the City of Fort Saskatchewan website. This survey asks questions about whether you ride FST Route 580, where you live, and whether this change would allow you to reach where you need to go.

As of right now, the FST Route 580 travels back and forth from the Dow Centennial Centre in Fort Saskatchewan to West Clareview in Edmonton. This proposed change would instead have the bus go from the Dow Centre to the Bethel Transit Terminal in Sherwood Park.
