RCMP: armed robbery at Fort Saskatchewan bar

Fort Saskatchewan RCMP responded to an armed robbery at the Brant Hotel on Monday afternoon.

Just before 1 p.m., police were called to reports of two men and two women entering the bar wearing ski masks.

The suspects allegedly bear sprayed and assaulted the clerk before pulling out a gun and demanding money. The suspects stole cash from the bar before leaving in a grey Volkswagen Jetta.

The suspect vehicle was discovered a short time later on fire in Lamoureux.

Fort Saskatchewan RCMP have taken charge of the investigation and are looking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

The suspects are described as two men wearing all black clothes, gloves, and ski masks; one woman with a small stature wearing a red parka; and another woman with a heavy build wearing all black clothing.
