St. Albert Tow Trucks May Take More Than Two Days

Tow truck drivers in the Edmonton and St. Albert regions are dealing with a high volume of calls following the first major snowfall of the winter.

According to Alberta Motor Association [AMA], they’re seeing four times the number of calls for battery boosts and tow truck service, which is leading to wait times near four hours for a boost, and 52 hours for towing.

In a news release, AMA suggested that drivers plug their vehicles in when temperatures are below -15°C, and to ensure you have a new battery for your vehicle.

AMA also suggests keeping your gas tank more than half full and to avoid making trips in extremely cold weather.
