EPS: suspicious death declared homicide

Edmonton police have released an update on the suspicious death of a woman from this past weekend.

On Sunday, at around 12 p.m., police responded to help paramedics at a residence near 123 Avenue and 127 Street. When officers arrived, they discovered a dead woman inside.

The Edmonton Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy, confirming the woman to be 39-year-old Madisyn Denea, and determining that her death was a homicide.

However, the exact cause of her death is not being released for investigative reasons.
