Winterfest returning to Fort Saskatchewan

The annual Winterfest is returning to Fort Saskatchewan for Family Day.

Taking place at the Fort Heritage Precinct, this free event features winter activities and maple taffy starting at 9 a.m. and running until 2 p.m.

To top it all off, there will be the famous vintage snowmobile show, which draws in people from all across the province showing off their snowmobiles built before 1980.

Winterfest and the snowmobile show are put together by the Fort Saskatchewan Historical Society and has been running since 2002. However, it was closed down in 2021 and 2022 due to the pandemic.
