Nickelback headlining the Calgary Stampede

The Calgary Stampede has announced that rock band Nickelback will be headlining the show on the rodeo’s final night.

The band will be performing on July 14 with featuring guests The Glorious Sons.

It’s been a big year for Nickelback. Back in 2023 the band has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and releasing their new documentary Hate To Love: Nickelback at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.

Nickelback is one of the top-selling music acts of all time, being named rock band of the decade by Billboard back in 2009, and also being the second best-selling foreign act in the United States. The band is also from Alberta, being formed in Hanna back in 1995.

Tickets for the show goes on sale on Friday, with tickets including admission to the park on the day of the show. However, Calgary Stampede Insiders are able to buy tickets on Tuesday.

The tickets can be purchased online, by phone, or in-person through Ticketmaster. There’s also a sign in sheet to become a Calgary Stampede Insider on the stampede’s website.
