Family of three claims to have been victims of Edmonton shooting

An Edmonton woman and her family were the targets of the recent drive-by shooting in Edmonton, according to a report by CTV News.

The 37-year-old woman said that her husband and their son were heading to a restaurant on 124 Street when the shooting happened.

Although the woman and her 2-year-old son were not hit, the husband has been shot in the foot before he took shelter at the restaurant they were planning to eat at.

Her husband is now out of work for at least two months as he recovers from his injury.

The woman said that she doesn’t know why they were targetted in the shooting, but she believes that the rental vehicle they were driving may have been a factor.

The suspects in the shooting have not been caught, but Edmonton police released photos of the vehicles in the hopes that someone could identify it.

The vehicle is described as a dark grey four-door Ford F250 made between 2017 and 2020.

Black Ford F250.

Anyone with information on the suspect vehicle are being asked to contact EPS at 780-423-4567.
