Morinville RCMP investigating mail theft

Morinville RCMP are investigating reports of mail theft from community mailboxes.

Police received reports from Canada post about four community mailboxes that were broken into overnight, with the thefts happening on 101A Street, 99 Street, and 105 Avenue.

As police investigate, they are asking residents to keep an eye out for suspicious activity, and to safeguard themselves against mail theft.

This can be done by checking the mailbox daily, report mail theft to police, and to not send cash in the mail.

Morinville RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding these thefts. Anyone with information can contact the police at 780-939-4520.
