Oilers watch parties coming to Edmonton

The Edmonton Oilers will be facing off against the Los Angeles Kings in Game 1 of their first-round playoffs series on Monday evening.

Although there are limited tickets available, there will be two outdoor watch parties at the ICE District. One is the Ford Tailgate Party in ICE District Plaza, and another at the Scotiabank Fan Park.

Both of these watch parties will have live DJs, ticket giveaways, Oilers alumni, and plenty of food and beverages as the games are broadcast.

Asmission is free with the gates opening up an hour and a half before puck drop. However, space is limited, so the Oilers recommend that fans arrive early.

For those 18-years-old and older, there will also be a free watch party going on at the Molson Hockey House in Ford Hall.

This is the third consecutive year that the Edmonton Oilers and the L.A. Kings have faced off against eachother in the first round of playoffs.
