Rewards offered for Edmonton murder suspects

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has teamed up with Bolo to help locate two suspects wanted for murder.

The Bolo Program focuses on a “Top 25” list of Canada’s most wanted criminals, with the hopes that the program helps police efforts in locating these suspects.

New to the list this year from Edmonton is Joseph Chlala, ranking #7 on Canada’s most wanted, while Saed Osman is at #8.

Joseph Chlala has a reward for $50,000 following the shooting of 21-year-old Osama Ali, with Chlala wanted for second degree murder in relation to the shooting.

The shooting was on June 12, 2023, with an autopsy being completed several days later.

Chlala is known to have connections in Edmonton, Calgary, and Ottawa, and is described as being 5’5″ with a heavy build, along with brown hair and green eyes.

Saed Osman also has a reward for $50,000 in relation to a shooting that happened at the Ertale Lounge in Edmonton.

Seven people were shot during the incident, with one of the victims, 28-year-old Imbert George, dying from his injuries.

Police determined that the suspects fired 70 rounds into a crowded area, with all seven victims being innocent bystanders.

Osman is one of two men who were charged in the shooting, with the other suspect already having been arrested. Osman is wanted for first degree murder among other charges.

Osman is also known by the alias Guled Osman or the nickname Styles. Osman hails from Ontario, but has strong ties in Edmonton.

He is described as a black man with brown eyes and black hair. He is six feet tall and weighs around 180 pounds with a scar on his right wrist.

Both Chlala and Osman are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If either suspect is spotted, EPS asks that you get in touch by calling 780-423-4567.
