London Drugs cyberattack may have compromised personal data

London Drugs stores across Western Canada remain closed following a cyberattack over the weekend.

Although an update was expected on Wednesday morning, the company sent out their previous statement, saying that stores remain temporarily closed.

The day before, London Drugs said that personal data may have been compromised during the cyber-attack, which contradicts a statement the retailer had made earlier in the week.

Despite this, London Drugs said that they would be getting in touch with anyone whose personal information was affected.

Dozens of London Drugs stores closed abruptly following the cyberattack, with no timeline being given on when the stores will be opening again.

In the meantime, pharmacy staff remains at locations to help people with urgent needs.
