Rabbit show coming to Bruderheim

The annual Wildrose Classic Rabbit Show is in Bruderheim this weekend.

Hosted by the Bruderheim Agricultural Society and E.A.R.S, this event will feature plenty of family friendly activities, such as photos with rabbits, hands-on activities with bugs and butterflies, and even birds of prey visiting the site.

On Saturday the day kicks off with a pancake breakfast at the Senior Centre before the Rabbit Show takes place at the Karol Maschmeyer Arena.

The event will also feature a 50/50, a craft market, train rides, and face painting. Also, with Mother’s Day right around the corner, there will also be gift crafts available at the newly named Dennis Maschmeyer Museum.

There will also be concession and food trucks onsite, with children under the age of 13 needing to be accompanied by an adult during the event.

Finally, the event will feature a Rabbit Awards Banquet at the Memorial Community Centre on Saturday evening, featuring some live entertainment from the Coffin Dodgers.

Admission to the event is made through a donation to the Bruderheim Agricultural Society.
