Canada Day in Fort Saskatchewan.

As Canada Day long weekend approaches, Fort Saskatchewan is preparing for its annual festivities, highlighted by the Canada Day Parade.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, and Canadian flags to stake out a spot along 101 Street or in downtown Fort Saskatchewan for the parade, scheduled to commence at 11 AM.

Following the parade, from 1 PM to 6 PM, Legacy Park will host a range of free activities to commemorate Canada’s birthday. Attendees can enjoy attractions such as a petting zoo, face painting, rides and inflatables, caricature artists, and participate in the Canada Day Monster Mural.

Additionally, a prize raffle will be held to support the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital Foundation during the festivities.
