Canada eliminated from COPAM after heartbreaking 2-0 loss

Canada has been eliminated from the Copa America following a 2-0 defeat against Argentina last night.

Lionel Messi scored his first goal of the tournament in the 109th minute, sealing Argentina’s victory.

Argentina, aiming to defend their 16th Copa crown, will advance to the final against either Colombia or Uruguay this Sunday.

Canada exhibited strong defensive play in the opening 20 minutes, but ultimately succumbed to Julian Alvarez’s decisive strike for Argentina.
