St. Albert stabbing suspect arrested and charged with First Degree Murder

On Thursday July 18, 2024, at approximately 10 p.m., RCMP investigated a complaint of a male hurting a female at a residence in St. Albert.

Two teenage females known to the alleged suspect, aged 13 and 17, were located inside the residence with multiple stab wounds.

Kaj Alexander Randall was arrested by the RCMP Major Crimes Unit in Edmonton on Saturday morning.

Tragically, the 17-year-old victim succumbed to her injuries on Saturday afternoon.

Previous charges against Kaj Alexander Randall in this matter have been upgraded to First Degree Murder. Randall remains in custody and will appear in the St. Albert Court of Justice on Monday.
