4 houses destroyed after a fire in northeast Edmonton

Four houses were engulfed in flames last night in northeast Edmonton. Fire crews arrived in the Fraser neighborhood around 7:30 p.m. According to Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, the fire began at a home under construction and quickly spread to neighboring houses.

By 9 p.m., 13 fire units were on the scene. The blaze was declared under control at 11 p.m., but it wasn’t considered fully extinguished until 10 a.m. this morning.
