Fans ejected from Yankee Stadium for interfering with Mookie Betts

Two fans were ejected from Game Four of the World Series at Yankee Stadium after one of them pried a foul ball from Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts’ glove. The fans have also been banned from attending Game Five, which is taking place tonight at the same venue.

In the first inning, Betts leaped at the wall to catch a pop-up hit by Gleyber Torres. While Betts initially caught the ball, one fan grabbed his glove with both hands, while another pulled on his other hand, leading to an interference call against Torres.

At the time of the incident, the Dodgers were leading by two runs following Freddie Freeman’s two-run homer, but they ultimately lost to the Yankees 11-4, missing the chance to complete a sweep.
