St. Albert RCMP charge a man in connection to a robbery

On October 30, St. Albert RCMP received a complaint of a male individual who attempted to rob a store employee with a knife at the Smart Centre Shopping Plaza.

He later fled from the store but was found by RCMP a few moments later. He was arrested and no one was injured.

41-year-old Ryan Gambler was charged with the following:

  • Robbery
  • Two counts of assaukt
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Two counts of Disobeying a Court Order
  • Resisting Arrest

He has been released on conditions and is set to be in court on November 18th.
