All three different types of Canadian Netflix subscriptions are raising in price. The standard Netflix plan with ads will be raised by $2 making the plan $7.99 per month. The standard plan without ads is now an extra $2.50, making the plan $18.99 per month. The premium plan is being hiked up by $3, making it $23.99 per month. Any new subscribers will see these new prices immediately, whereas existing subscribers will see it on their next bill. The fee to add extra members to an account will not be changed. Netflix subscription fees are also going up in the United States, Portugal, and Argentina. Netflix states that the reason for the change is due to “programming investments”. This rise is leaving users surprised as they were with the last rise in 2022.
