An accident at Highway 16 and Highway 857 near Vegreville resulted in a school bus flipping into a ditch on Friday afternoon. Two students and a driver were on the bus, one student had minor injuries whereas the other had serious, but not life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Stollery for treatment. The driver was not injured. The icy roads, strong winds, and whiteout conditions is believed to have caused the bus to lose traction and flip.
