A head on collision early this past Friday resulted in three deaths. The collision was between a red Ford Escape and a white Ford Super Duty pulling a travel trailer on Highway 55 between Range Road 161 and 162 in Lac La Biche. The male and female Plamandon residents in the Ford Escape received life saving measures, but were both unfortunately pronounced dead on scene. The female resident of High Prairie in the Ford Super Duty was also pronounced dead on scene. The male resident of Glendon was extracted from the Ford Super Duty by the jaws of life and is now receiving care for serious, life-threatening injuries in Edmonton. Lac La Biche RCMP are currently investigating the collision and are asking the public for any dash cam footage or eye witnesses to reach out.
