James Barker Band to perform at Stanley Cup Game 5

James Barker Band is set to take centre stage at the fifth game of the Stanley Cup final between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers.

This will be the third concert held during a finals game in the ICE district, with one scheduled for every Edmonton home game. Game one had a performance from Arkells, with game two having showings from The Glorious Sons and Triumph.

James Barker Band have won seven Canadian Country Music Awards and a Juno award to go alongside. The group has gathered almost 300 million streams and12 Gold and Platinum certifications.

The performance will begin at 4 p.m. in the Play Alberta Fan Park outside of Rogers Place before the game starts at 6.

The concert is free of charge for all who wish to attend, with gates opening at 3 p.m.. No ticket is required, fans just need to scan their LOILTY Rewards membership QR code.

Portions of the performance will also be streamed on Stanely Cup Finals broadcasts, which begin at 5:30 p.m. on Sportsnet.
