Vegreville receives $90k grant to improve signage and tourism to town

Vegreville has received a $90,000 grant from the Government of Alberta to add signage at key locations to improve navigation for visitors travelling to rural tourism events and amenities.

The grant comes as part of Alberta’s Small Community Opportunity Program.

“I am so happy to see this financial investment in our community and how it will impact our local tourism,” said Jackie Armstrong-Homenuik, the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville in a statement put out today. “Congratulations to the Town of Vegreville and all who were involved to make this grant possible!”
