Edmonton Short Film Festival (ESFF) is looking to showcase some local filmmakers.
Short films of all genres from all around the world will premiere at Metro Cinema in Edmonton on October 13, 14, and 15.
“We exist to support Alberta independant filmmakers,” said executive director Candace Makowichuk. “We’re in our 11th year and we screen a variety of short films anywhere from one minutes to 60 minutes in length.”
The festival accept all genres, including commercials, trailers, and music videos. They also allow for any creation date, which means you can submit films that were made years ago.
“Independent films about us tend to be about our own communities and ideas. Supporting local independent film helps keep the film sector in Alberta strong.”
Submissions are still open. You can see how to submit your film by visiting the ESFF website here.
