EPS completes autopsy in downtown death

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) have completed an autopsy on a death of a man earlier this month.

On the morning of October 5, police responded to reports of an unresponsive man in front of a business in the area of 97 Street and 106 Avenue.

Paramedics were on seen trying to help the man, but he was pronounced dead on scene.

An autopsy was done the next day, and while police believed the death was suspicious, results of the autopsy show that the death was non-criminal in nature.

With the death no longer deemed suspicious, police have concluded the investigation.
