Fort Saskatchewan chamber sells building

The Fort Saskatchewan and District Chamber of Commerce sold their building.

The building went on sale back in January, with the sale going through in late March for the asking price of $500,000.

According to the chamber, this will help balance the chamber’s expenses as they reported a $70,000 deficit last June, on top of staff being cut down to a single position.

Although the building has been sold, the chamber will stay in the building for another year.

This sale was put in place by Executive Director Marcie Mazurenko, with the chamber now looking to develop a realistic budget for future years.
