Edmonton spray parks opening this weekend

This weekend marks the return of Edmonton’s spray parks.

There are 75 spray parks throughout the city, with two new parks coming this year. One of these new parks is in Windsor Park, and the other is in Inglewood.

“As Edmontonians start looking forward to the summer sun, City crews are busy preparing the spray parks for families to have fun and cool off in the sun,” said Cheryl Fereday, acting director of infrastructure and maintenance.

A new addition this year includes an interactive online map of all the city’s spray parks, with information available on the spray park’s operating status and hours.

The map will be updated daily so that Edmontonians can properly find an open spray park in the area, with this interactive map available on the City of Edmonton website.
