Two weeks ago, the Edmonton police executed a search warrant at the Brothers Gift and Smoke Shop on 100 Street and 106 Avenue. Officers at the scene seized 94 spring-assisted knives and 27 contraband cigarette packs. Both an employee and the owner were arrested and charged with weapon trafficking and trafficking of contraband cigarettes. The employee also received a separate possession of a dangerous weapon charge.
