Edmonton police discover burned vehicle involved in recent drive-by

Edmonton police believe that they may have discovered the suspect vehicle connected to the drive-by shooting that happened over the weekend.

The shooting was near a restaurant on 124 Street, with surveillance footage showing the suspect vehicle to be a dark grey Ford F250 pickup truck with distinct aftermarket rims.

However, just last night police discovered a burned F250 pickup truck near 64 Street and 176 Avenue, with the burned vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle.

Nobody was inside the vehicle when it was discovered, according to police, which has officers continuing to investigate in order to identify and locate the vehicle’s driver and occupants.

There have been many developments in this story, with an Edmonton woman claiming that her family were the ones targeted in the shooting.

Edmonton police are asking anyone who may know something about the suspect vehicle to get in touch at 780-423-4567.
