St. Albert kicks off municipal census

The City of St. Albert announced that the 2024 municipal census is now open.

The census runs until June 27, with residents able to take the census online through the City of St. Albert website.

For those that aren’t able to complete the census online, enumerators will start knocking on doors on May 27. However, the online census can still be done until June 18.

“The city is trying to get as many responses as possible. Every response counts,” wrote the city on their website. “If we miss you, we will leave you information on how to contact the enumerator in your area.”

The data gathered in the census is used as a foundation for planning community programs and enhancing existing ones.

The last census was done in 2018, with all the data available on the City of St. Albert website.
