Two arrested following suspicious death in Edmonton

Edmonton police have arrested a man and a woman following the death of a man in northeast Edmonton.

At around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to reports of a death at a home in the area of 135A Avenue and 68 Street. The man and a woman who reported the incident to police said that the man died in the home.

Police discovered the body of a 65-year-old man inside the home, with the homicide section called out to investigate, as police believed the circumstances of the man’s death was suspicious.

The man and woman who called police have been arrested and taken into custody as police prepare for an autopsy on the body on Wednesday.
