Man who propositioned teenage girls in St. Albert arrested

A man is in custody following an incident where two St. Albert teenage girls were propositioned and offered drugs.

St. Albert RCMP arrested the man on Thursday and have charges pending.  The suspect’s name has not been released.

Police responded to a call that an adult male had approached two 15-year-old girls asking if they wanted to do drugs and have sex with him.  The girls then went and told their 14-year-old male friend what happened.  The boy confronted the man who then punched the boy in the face.

Police thank the public for their assistance as public tips were crucial in identifying the suspect.
